About సెప్టెంబర్ 2025
సెప్టెంబర్ 2025 spans the lunar months of భాద్రపదం and ఆశ్వయుజం. It opens on శుక్ల నవమి, with the moon in వృశ్చికం, and closes on శుక్ల అష్టమి. The grid above shows every day's tithi and the exact time it ends — a tithi rarely fills a calendar day, so the end time is what tells you how much of it is left.
This month the full moon falls on 7, సెప్టెంబర్ 2025, ఆదివారం, and the new moon on 21, సెప్టెంబర్ 2025, ఆదివారం.
Festivals this month: పితృ పక్షం (మహాలయ పక్షం) on 8, సెప్టెంబర్ 2025, సోమవారం, మహాలయ అమావాస్య on 21, సెప్టెంబర్ 2025, ఆదివారం, శరన్నవరాత్రులు (దసరా) on 22, సెప్టెంబర్ 2025, సోమవారం. Each links to its own page with the pooja vidhanam, samagri and slokas, and to that day's full panchangam.
Days are getting shorter through the month: the daylight period runs 12h 35m on the first and 11h 57m on the last. That matters more than it sounds, because rahu kalam, yamagandam and gulika kalam are each an eighth of the daylight period — so they shift and change length along with it. The timings on each day's page are computed for the city you have selected.
