About Krishna Vidiya
The second tithi belongs to Brahma, the creator, and carries the sense of a thing taking form after it has been begun. It is a settled, constructive tithi with no sharp edges — the reason it is one of the most commonly chosen for ordinary auspicious work when no stronger muhurta is available.
The paksha
In krishna paksha the moon is waning, losing light each night. The waning half is treated as favourable to inward, reductive and concluding work — practice, fasting, ancestral rites and the settling of what is outstanding — rather than to new outward beginnings.
Bhadra — auspicious
Bhadra means 'good' or 'fortunate'. These are the workmanlike tithis: good for building, for trade, for study and for the ordinary business of a household. Their weekday is Wednesday.
