కర్మణ్యేవాధికారస్తే మా ఫలేషు కదాచన ।
Your right is to action alone, never to its fruits. Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.

న జాయతే మ్రియతే వా కదాచిత్
The soul is never born, nor does it die; it is unborn, eternal, everlasting and ancient. It is not slain when the body is slain.

Lead me from the unreal to the real, from darkness to light, from death to immortality.

ఓం పూర్ణమదః పూర్ణమిదం పూర్ణాత్ పూర్ణముదచ్యతే ।
That is whole; this is whole. From the whole, the whole arises. Taking the whole from the whole, the whole alone remains.

ఓం సహ నావవతు । సహ నౌ భునక్తు ।
May we be protected together; may we be nourished together; may we work together with vigour; may our study be luminous; may we never quarrel.

సర్వే భవంతు సుఖినః సర్వే సంతు నిరామయాః ।
May all be happy; may all be free from illness; may all see what is auspicious; may no one suffer.

We meditate on the adorable radiance of the divine Savitr; may that light inspire our minds.

ఓం త్ర్యంబకం యజామహే సుగంధిం పుష్టివర్ధనమ్ ।
We worship the three-eyed one, fragrant, who nourishes all; like a cucumber freed from its stem, may we be freed from death, not from immortality.

గురుర్బ్రహ్మా గురుర్విష్ణుః గురుర్దేవో మహేశ్వరః ।
The guru is Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshvara; the guru is the supreme Brahman itself — to that revered guru, salutations.

వక్రతుండ మహాకాయ సూర్యకోటి సమప్రభ ।
O curved-trunked, mighty-bodied one, radiant as a crore of suns — make all my endeavours forever free of obstacles.

శుక్లాంబరధరం విష్ణుం శశివర్ణం చతుర్భుజమ్ ।
One should meditate on the all-pervading lord clad in white, moon-hued, four-armed, of serene countenance, for the pacification of all obstacles.

సరస్వతీ నమస్తుభ్యం వరదే కామరూపిణి ।
Salutations to you, Saraswati, giver of boons, fulfiller of wishes; as I begin my studies, may accomplishment always be mine.
- ప్రాతః స్మరణము
కరాగ్రే వసతే లక్ష్మీః కరమధ్యే సరస్వతీ ।
At the fingertips dwells Lakshmi, in the middle of the palm Saraswati, at its base Govinda — therefore, look upon your palms at dawn.
- శరణాగతి శ్లోకము
త్వమేవ మాతా చ పితా త్వమేవ
You alone are my mother and father, kinsman and friend, knowledge and wealth — you alone are my everything, O God of gods.
- సమర్పణ శ్లోకము
కాయేన వాచా మనసేంద్రియైర్వా
Whatever I do — with body, speech, mind, senses, intellect, or by nature's own course — I offer it all to the supreme Narayana.
- శివ ఆరతి శ్లోకము
కర్పూరగౌరం కరుణావతారం
White as camphor, compassion incarnate, the essence of existence, garlanded with the king of serpents — I bow to Bhava with Bhavani, ever dwelling in the lotus of the heart.
- దీప వందనము
శుభం కరోతి కల్యాణం ఆరోగ్యం ధనసంపదః ।
You bring auspiciousness, welfare, health and prosperity, and destroy hostile thoughts — O light of the lamp, salutations to you.
- కృష్ణ ధ్యానము
వసుదేవసుతం దేవం కంసచాణూరమర్దనమ్ ।
I bow to Krishna, son of Vasudeva, vanquisher of Kamsa and Chanura, supreme joy of Devaki, teacher of the world.
- విష్ణు ధ్యానము
శాంతాకారం భుజగశయనం పద్మనాభం సురేశం
I bow to Vishnu — serene of form, resting on the serpent, lotus-naveled, lord of the gods, support of the universe, vast as the sky, cloud-hued, auspicious-limbed, beloved of Lakshmi, lotus-eyed, reached by yogis in meditation, remover of the fear of worldly existence, the one lord of all worlds.

సర్వమంగళమాంగళ్యే శివే సర్వార్థసాధికే ।
O auspiciousness of all that is auspicious, O Shiva's consort, accomplisher of all aims, refuge of all, three-eyed Gauri — Narayani, salutations to you.
